Objective

During the session, the book "Climate Change and Human Rights: Contributions from and for Latin America and the Caribbean", a joint publication of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (ACNUDH), will be launched with the support of EUROCLIMA+.

Presentation

The session will introduce the results of the study, focusing on the main human rights standards applicable to climate change and the progress that has been made in this regard in the region. The session will also feature interventions by authorities from Latin America and the Caribbean.
