Objective and Presentation

The Zero Carbon LAC report presents a future with a 100% renewable electricity and electromobility on all vehicle fleets by 2050. This transformation can be achieved by coupling these two sectors with gains in emission reductions, health and job creation. It sets a science-based and financially sound route to increase NDC ambition, displaying practical examples of technologies, business models and technologies that can be scaled-up. The event will feature mandataries, private sector and financial institutions highlighting report findings and discussing pathways to meet the Paris Agreement in LAC.
