Objective

To present the main results and conclusions of the "RIOCCADAPT Project: Evaluation of climate change adaptation actions in the countries of the Ibero-American Network of Climate Change Offices", before the official publication of the report in early 2020.

Presentation

Adaptation to climate change is a priority for Spanish Cooperation and for the work carried out by the Ibero-American Network of Climate Change Offices (RIOCC). A few years ago, the network identified adaptation to climate change as a priority, and it is important to give greater visibility to the experiences being developed in the region in the area of adaptation. In this context, and with the support and financing of AECID’s ARAUCLIMA Programme, the RIOCCADAPT Project is being developed, which focuses on identifying, reviewing and evaluating climate change adaptation actions being carried out in the region in a large number of systems and strategic sectors prioritised by the countries. A total of 120 researchers and experts from the region are participating in the project.
