The twenty-fifth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is organised and chaired by Chile, but will be held in Madrid, Spain, December 2-13.
Madrid is the capital of Spain, its cultural and political centre. It has a fairground of 100,000 square metres distributed in six pavilions and a convention centre, IFEMA Feria de Madrid will host COP25.
Madrid has an extensive public transport network that includes, among other options, metro, buses and rail network, which facilitates access to the site.
