The National Electric Mobility Strategy of Panama has been developing since August 2018 at the request of the Ministry of Environment and the National Energy Secretariat of Panama. During the process, the consultation process was channeled through an existing multisectoral working group, in collaboration with the World Energy Council of Panama, and a strategy coordinating committee was established with the participation of the aforementioned stakeholders, as well as as the Panama Canal Authority, the Transit and Land Transportation Authority, electricity companies and representatives of the country's automotive sector.
On June 13, the workshop to launch the electric mobility strategy of Panama will be held at the Crown Plaza Hotel (banking area) from 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon. During the event, the main results of the strategy will be presented.
