The event is part of the action “Stimulating the promotion and granting of green patents as a mechanism to respond to the commitments acquired by Brazil through the Paris Agreement (NDC)”, which the EUROCLIMA + program and the INPI are promoting in Brazil.

The Green Patent Program of the National Institute of Industrial Property of Brazil (INPI) aims to accelerate the evaluation of green technology patent applications. This initiative allows the identification of new technologies, stimulating their licenses and promoting innovation in the country.

This workshop will be used to disseminate the use of the priority examination in the green technology sector to 120 representatives of private initiatives. In addition to the representatives of the INPI, which is responsible for presenting the priority green patent program, there will be a national expert from the private initiative who will present their case of success obtaining patents through the program.
