The course "Climate change: Foundations for Approach" is a virtual course developed by teachers of the Interdisciplinary Center for Responding to Climatic Change and Variability (CIRCVC) of the University of the Republic of Uruguay. It has the support of the Euroclimate + Program, Climate Governance Component through FIIAPP, within the framework of an initiative that Uruguay has been implementing to advance the implementation of the National Climate Change Policy and its lines of action linked to education, communication and awareness. It is coordinated by the National System of Response to Climate Change of Uruguay.
The course proposes an approach to the study of climate change from a multidisciplinary, multiscale and complex perspective contemplating the transversal approaches of the gender and human rights perspective. The students of this course are officials and technicians of government agencies, independent professionals and teachers.
