MOVE webinars cycle: Regulation elements in electric mobility

SESIÓN 3 -  Batteries, the European case

Speakers:

  • Arturo Perez de Lucía - General Director of AEDIVE (Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Vehicles)

Biography: Born and raised in the USA, he studied Information Science at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He has directed professional publications in the areas of Energy, Logistics, Sustainable Architecture and Sustainable Mobility for over 20 years. He has been Dircom de Ingenierías Energéticas since its foundation 10 years ago, he directs AEDIVE, the business association that brings together in Spain the industrial, technological and services value chain in the Electric Mobility

Session: Batteries are a fundamental part of electric vehicles, and in many cases the most controversial. Beyond their operation, capacity and degradation; there is a lack of knowledge about their use as a second life, recycling and final disposal of their materials. Given that the aim is to move towards a mobility of zero emissions and zero waste, what elements and processes should be regulated to achieve this objective, what values, minimum or maximum, exist and what should be created to have companies or organizations providing this service? Our guest will talk to us about the European Union regulation and its application in Spain.
