This initiative, consisting of a set of meetings/workshops to be held between August and November 2020, seeks to promote coherence, and achieve synergies among the countries, projects, and programmes of the region to accelerate and increase climate ambition and action. In particular, this process stems from the plans for the joint organisation of the VIII LEDS LAC Regional Workshop and the Second Dialogue among Peers (EUROCLIMA+), with the added participation of the IDB and UNDP in an effort to provide the region with a space for connection, collaboration and collective learning.

These will consist of a virtual process that allows the achievement of concrete results of regional scope on priority issues for the platform's members and partners, built through collaboration, exchanges among peers, and capacity building, and aiming to contribute to the countries of the region so they can move forward with the implementation of their NDCs, increasing ambition for their next commitments and designing long-term strategies.
