The “Ibero-American Forum on Communication and Climate Change” seeks to create a multisectoral space open to journalists and communicators from all over Latin America to exchange experiences and good practices on issues related to climate change. In this sense, this forum is a great opportunity to add the support of the media in the climate process that is taking place towards COP26.
FORUM ON SEPTEMBER 9
PART ONE - CONVERSATORY
Climate Ambition and Nationally Determined Contributions (CDN)
- Andrea Meza, Minister of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica
- Teresa Ribera Rodríguez, Third Vice President of the Government of Spain and Minister for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge
The panelists will make a general introduction of five minutes, to later answer the questions of the journalists. The discussion will last one hour and registered journalists will participate.
PART TWO - WORKSHOPS
The second part of the forum will be an exchange workshop between journalists and experts to address communication trends and new formats. Specifically, experiences of the topics to be discussed will be exposed: 9: Social networks and photojournalism linked to climate change.
