https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/introducing-sustainable-urban-mobility-sp/1The course consists of an introduction to the different dimensions of sustainable urban mobility. The Avoid-Change-Improve (ECM) approach is applied to allow an approach to mobility and transportation planning.
Adopting a critical vision of car-oriented urban design, different strategies are explored towards a more sustainable urban mobility for the environment and societies.
The first part will consist of an introduction to transportation planning for sustainable cities.
A team made up of members of TUMI, EUROCLIMA + and SUSTENTAR will moderate the course and provide support to the participants. Course developed by University College of London (UCL) and TUMI, funded by the German Development Cooperation - GIZ.
