The course consists of an introduction to the different dimensions of sustainable urban mobility. The Avoid-Change-Improve (ECM) approach is applied to allow an approach to mobility and transportation planning.
Adopting a critical vision of car-oriented urban design, different strategies are explored towards a more sustainable urban mobility for the environment and societies.
The second part will consist of the components of transportation planning for sustainable cities. A team made up of members of TUMI, EUROCLIMA + and SUSTENTAR will moderate the course and provide support to the participants.
