Objective of the event
Provide understanding of the existing climate and green development reality in different states of Brazil. We aim to highlight challenges and opportunities for possible partnerships that can accelerate the transition to carbon neutrality in Brazil, with a focus on green development and climate finance. We also aim to promote channels for experience exchanges in order to strengthen Brazilian subnational governance, making it more effective in fulfilling its climate agendas - state secretaries should also share their experiences so that a proactive agenda of international cooperation can be created.
